My beautiful princess in Goa

From Vilma on 13th February 2018 My beautiful princess in Goa

When it is said that we are made in the image of God and we are all beautiful, I couldn't probably say this more about anyone else but you! You truly were an ethereal creation. It is almost a year now, yet it feels like you are gone on a long trip. I sometimes hope that you'd ring the doorbell, looking all tired after school and I take you in my arms in your yellow and khaki uniform. It brings silent tears to my eyes. This time, when in Hong Kong, I missed you and felt nostalgic seeing little children in their ballet outfits walking to their dance studios. I saw 'chestnuts roasting on an open fire' and remembered how we used to break into song, completely oblivious of the world around, outside Choi Hung station where we would see chestnuts being roasted... :'( Oh Shanu! Not a day goes by when I don't think of you and all your lovely ways! My darling baby, I pray everyday that somehow you come back into my life... As crazy as it may sound to the whole world, I wish and pray that you come back into my life as my guardian angel or as my grandchild. I don't think I nurtured and loved anyone the way I did you! I read in the Bible in Psalm 90, that we are meant to live till 70 or if strong, 80 and so, I do not understand why did you go at 14. Oh my baby, I love you and miss you so much! Rest in peace my angel and pray over all your loved ones. Keep us safe and at peace within ourselves knowing that you are in a better place. :* Happy Valentine's Day my sweetest and dearest Valentine! Love, Mamma
